This past weekend we had our special photo shoot for Christmas pictures down in Forest Park. Delaney was quite the ham this year.. running around and posing herself. The pic of Delaney peeking through the pillars was all Delaney's idea! Photographer E. Storm does an awesome job and Delaney listened to her pretty well. She would ask Delaney to sit on one place and smile... so Delaney would, then Delaney would run to a new spot, pose herself, smile and say cheese. After getting pictures done at the park we went to the mall to see Santa. Delaney loves Santa so much and was so excited to see Santa the entire morning, at the photo shoot, on the way to the mall and while we were in line. She talked and talked about seeing Santa. When we got up to Santa though she got very quiet and listened as he whispered in her ear. She was ready to sit in his lap even lifted her arms so he could grab her up. She still seemed a little reserved as she sat on his lap and a little unsure of what was going on. She answered his questions in a very soft sweet shy voice as well. It's been a few days and she is still talking about seeing Santa. She tells us that she told Santa she wants a baby and a camera. I just love Christmas time... for all the joy, wonder and magic the season brings!
