Little Gym Show Week

Delaney seems to enjoy all of the things we take her to see and do.... but nothing quite compares to the excitement she holds for Little Gym. She has learned so much in her past year at Little Gym and it was fun to watch her show off on Show Week. (although she didn't show off everything she can do) The biggest amazement I have is not so much the actual gymnastic skills but the way she will listen to her instructor, sing all the songs and pay attention (most of the time). On Friday we were talking about her medal that she got for doing such a good job and she was having a complete conversation with me about Little Gym... remembering that Mimi came to watch her and she went in the "chute" (parachute) which in turn prompted her to sing her ABC's because we often do that under the parachute. I told her she was getting to be such a big girl and I asked her ..."Where is Mommy's baby girl? Where did she go?" she responded by pointing to her chest and saying "Right here mama, I'm right here!" We will certainly miss Little Gym this summer as we take a break ... but look forward to attending again next year hopefully!
