Alex and Delaney on the "Hayride" to the tree hill.

Delaney checking out a baby tree.

Ducks.. these were the best part!

Putting ornaments on the tree.

We finally headed out to the tree farm to cut down our Christmas Tree! After waiting a few weeks trying to find a time when we all could go... Delaney and I both had the stomach flu and were worried we once again wouldn't be able to go! Luckily we were both feeling much better this morning and able to make the trip!
This is an annual family tradition and I look forward to it every year. It was fun to take Delaney this year and let her run around check out the trees. She helped... or more like supervised daddy as he cut down the tree and she loved the little trees that were her size. She got to see Santa and didn't cry at all, she even waved and told him bye bye! We had a snack and then she got to visit the petting zoo! She got to pet a chicken, a duck, pig, goat, cow, bunny, llama and horse. She got so excited upon seeing the ducks you'd have thought ELMO was standing there! She wasn't sure about the piggy when he came running up to sniff her but when the farm guy laid the piggy down she enjoyed petting and saying hi to the piggy. She loved checking out the store and all the light up, music playing Santas, reindeer, and snowmen!
We got home and got the tree up and Delaney helped us decorate it.. and herself! She was so funny with the ornaments ..putting them all together in one place barely balanced on a branch!
Just another Christmas Tradition to look forward to every year!
