Dear Delaney Grace-

You are 16 months old today! You are growing up so fast! This month you have really enjoyed pretend play. You love to feed your dolls now and pretend to put them to sleep. Your dolls get to ride in the stroller, on your rocking horse, down the slide. Your dolls do everything you do! You also love to play with your little people doll house, suv and Mayflower! You pile the poeple in push them around and they "talk" to eachother as they sit in the chairs. You love to make the pretend toilet flush and the phone ring in the doll house. It is so adorable watching you play by yourself!

You've also become quite independet this month... doing whatever it is you want to do! You can be easily persuaded... just depends on your mood at the time! You have started throwing food from your tray when you are finished instead of saying all done... which you can say and sign! This gets you into time out. Most of the time you smile while in time out..... but sometimes you cry. We just hope you are learning to stop throwing food and cups!

You have so many new words I think I am starting to lose track. You are like a parrot.. trying to repeat everything we say. You still babble a lot of nonsense but you think you are really saying things so we react just like we understand every single word... and you give us a big grin and some kind of response back. We can have whole conversations like that! It's so much fun!

You are loving all the Christmas and Holiday decorations, lights, trees, wreaths, ornaments....and Santa... until you are on his lap of course! This Christmas will be so much fun!

You sometimes call me "my mama" and daddy "my dada"... it's so sweet! You also have the dirtiest looks I have ever seen when something isn't going your way! You have also just started trying to cross your arms across your chest! Hilarious! We continue to enjoy watching your pesronality emerge. You are just the perfect amount of sweet, silly and sassy! So eat your veggies so you can keep growing strong!
