Our last day in Florida started out cloudy and quite windy...so we headed out to explore the Loggerhead Marinelife Center to see the Loggerhead Turtles. It's a little rehabilitation place for turtles who are found stranded and hurt. They have giant tubs with wiondows on the sides for the kids to see the turtles. We saw turtles eating and taking baths! Delaney was facinated by the turtles and she enjoyed the little playground there as well. We went to a little place called Kathy's Beach Connection for lunch then headed back so the boys could wtach the Mizzou game and we could hit the beach as the sun had finally come out! Delaney had fun playing on the beach one last afternoon! We headed to the airport only to find out our flight was delayed and thus started a very LONG night of travel! We got back to St. Louis around 3am! Home around 4am! Delaney was a real trooper.. sleeping through most of the craziness! It was a wonderful trip! Thanks Mimi and General for a great week of baseball, beach and family fun!
