Girls just wanna have fun!

Yeah I'm Cool!

Frame a pretty picture!

Wagon ride with my friend Aidan. (she loved having a friend in her wagon with her!)

My new swing! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
This is soooooooooo fun!
Ready or not... here I come!
Here I am!
How do I get up this thing?
Being Silly!

Hey Mom! This is not a ZOO! Let me out! Delaney loves playtime these days. It is so fun to watch her learn and discover as she plays! We've had some beautiful spring days here and there so we have tried to spend them outside going for wagon rides and swinging! Now that she is crawling she is also enjoying her tunnels and blocks! She loves to climb and pull up on her blocks and she never tires of crawling back and forth through her tent tunnel. She is also such a hoot and we get a kick out of all the things she does and the sounds she is making these days. She laughs when she finds us laughing at her! We love the little person she is becoming!

Crawling Footage

Here it is.. actual footage of Delaney crawling. Yes.. she holds one knee up off the ground, pushes off with that foot and drags on leg kinda....and she's getting pretty quick regardless! Enjoy!

Standing, Tooth Fairy and CRAWLING!

Look at Me!

Now I can reach the diapers and lotion!

Can you see my tooth? Just barely!

It's easier to feel my tooth.. that is if I let you stick your finger in my mouth.......

I'm gonna get that phone.....

Almost there!
Sweet Success!

Side view.... ....and here is just one of a cute baby!
Well Delaney had an exciting week! She has been standing for sometime by holding on but now she can pull up to a stand! Her balance is getting better and she likes to let go with one hand like she is a hot shot! She has found the diapers and lotion on her changing table shelf and she loves to knock them down! Delaney hadn't been sleeping well at night for quite a few weeks.... and Wednesday night she slept through the night.. not a peep.... later that day I got a call from my mom and she had news... Delaney's first tooth had popped through! Probably why she finally was able to sleep... I just hadn't noticed in the morning! It's coming in a little more every day but it is still hard to see. Then Friday night Delaney showed us she could finally crawl... instead of butt scoot! She drags one leg and it's funny to watch (really funny because Jer's mom says that's how he crawled) but she is getting better and faster day by day! This means we can't leave the room without her following us!

8 Months Old

One of her favorite books: Moo Baa La La La

And what is this bear doing in MY picture?
Look at that mischievous face!
Piggy Tails
Up to something...

On April 4th Delaney was 8 months old! She is a wild and crazy girl these days! She loves to play and move around. She's still not really crawling but she scoots on her little booty wherever she wants to go. So between booty scooting, rolling and lunging forward... she is pretty mobile! Which means... if I put her in the middle of her room, she can quickly get to her book shelf and pull all her books down on top of her.... read them (okay well not read exactly but ..look at the pictures, turn the pages, put them on her head and chew on them)... then on over to the other shelf where she pulls down her baskets of toys... and in no time flat her room looks like a tornado hit it! So I suppose you can imagine that doing a photo shoot with her is not easy! So this is the best I could do before she scooted, rolled or lunged away from me!

Delaney loves to eat.. most anything really... she is pretty much on stage 2 baby food...but she is starting to eat puffs or cheerios quite well... and she loves to eat pieces of bread at restaurants. Still not a single tooth in sight! She loves for people to talk back to her when she "talks" to them... but sometimes if you try to take her away from her mama or dada look out!!!! Delaney loves to play peek a boo and frame pretty pictures. She loves to read (see above) books, sing and dance (or watch mama sing and dance). She is a total fish and could stay in the tub or pool for hours! And this girl LOVES to talk talk talk! It is so fun to watch her learn to do things!

We love you Delaney Grace!

Spring Break- Baseball

aw.... Adam Wainwright!
Delaney, Jerry and I with Delaney's autographed ball.
Delaney and her Uncle Alex
Delaney and her friend Zander We went to four Cardinal Spring Training games and they won every single one! Delaney was great through all of them! She would have a bottle and fall asleep for her afternoon nap for the first five innings then flirt with everyone around us for the last four innings! She loved watching the players during batting practice and warm ups before the games.. she is an action girl! She even got to keep a foul ball that a staff member brought right to her the last game. (we were sitting in the second row) I got to TALK to my favorite player Adam Wainwright. I was wearing a shirt with his name and number on the back and he called over to me "Hey, nice jersey. I think we have the only to in the whole camp, you and me!" I just giggled of course because I was so tickled! We did get his autograph along with, Chris Carpenter, Anthony Reyes and Tony LaRussa on Delaney's little Cardinal ball. On Friday morning Chris Duncan was leaving the Juno Beach Cafe (our fav breakfast place) as we were getting there. Alex was in total shock and was so excited when the waitress told us we were sitting at the table where Duncan had just sat! Alex wanted to order the same thing Duncan ate.. until he found out what is was... so he decided to try another kind of omlett.(it was next to the one Duncan got) We even got to see my friend Andrea and her baby Zander who is just a couple weeks older than Delaney. They were so cute together, they even held hands! The weather for the games was just perfect and it's so neat to see the players warming up and taking batting practice just a few feet away! We had a great time and we're looking forward to going back!
