Swimming and Being Silly

Last Sunday we took Delaney swimming in a pool for the first time. She LOVED every minute of it. She even let me dunk her under... she just came up look confused and then smiled! Delaney kicked like crazy and splashed away.... my little swimmer is on her way! She loved being bounced up and down in the water and I also helped her float on her back and she just looked up at me and smiled away. She also sat on the step and played with her cups. The pool we went to has an area for little kids and Delaney loved to try to grab the water that poured down in places, and watch the bubbles that formed when it hit the water in the pool.

And then I also included a picture of her being a silly girl! Delaney is getting quite a personality and she loves to be silly! It's even better for her if we laugh at what she has done...We don't mind at all!

Special Photo Session

We had the wonderful opportunity to have some fantastic pictures taken of Delaney. They turned out so fabulous I just had to share them all. These really capture how beautiful her eyes are. She did wonderful at the photo shoot and it was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy these as much as we do! I know there are a lot.... but I couldn't help myself!

Saturday it was freezing cold here and we wanted to get out of the house. Delaney loves crowded, caotic places where she can watch people and hear all kinds of noises. Since Jer has never been to the Science Center we decided to go there... well so did the rest of town! That's okay though because it was a fun outing. We carried Delaney in her jeep carrier and she kicked those legs and waved her arms in excitement the whole time... not to mention talking up a storm! We walked around and played, made sure to cross the bridge (and she loved trying to watch the cars zoom by!) and saw the space show. Delaney enjoyed watching the stars twinkle above her. I know we will have even more fun at the Science Center as she gets older!!!!!!

Delaney got this awesome red wagon from her Grandma and Grandpa. We finally got to take it outside on Sunday when it was so warm here! She actually sat up in it quite well and loved looking at everything as we walked. Radio Flyers sure have come along way since I had one.... this one has seats that fold up and down, cup holders and an awning to block the sun! This will be a great wagon for years to come!

Five Months Old!

This is is the outfit I came home from the hospital in, my mom saved it... I've been meaning to put Delaney in it and kept forgeting.... I can't belive it fit my little chunker! It must have been huge on me as a newborn!

Here are some pictures of our 5 mointh photo shoot....yes I said 5 months... where has the time gone? Delaney is growing and changing so quickly! She is starting to enjoy playing with her toys and loves to get her feet wrapped around the things hanging from her play mat (she's such a little monkey) She's grabbing, reaching and pulling with her hands. She is starting to sit up pretty well and loves to stick out her tongue! She doesn't care for tummy time much these days but we make her do it anyways! She is quite the talker and If I get some video of it I'll post it soon. She is drinking 8 ounce bottles and eating breakfast and dinner. Speaking of solid food she is getting much better at eating those too! She loves to hug her bunny and Baby Ella when she goes to sleep. She is so much fun and cracks us up with her facial expressions and noises! Oh and she loves to play with her toes but she can only hold them for a few seconds so getting a picture has been impossible! We're looking forward to all her next milestones so stay tuned!
