Saturday afternoon we ventured out to the zoo with our friends Matt and Amber and their 2 year old son Hudson. Delaney slept through most of her first zoo experience but she woke up to eat a few times, and she loved going through the River's Edge area because the waterfalls and bug noises sound like her nature sounds on her swing that she loves! I know she couldn't really see anything but we all had fun regardless. Hudson was so excited he galloped from exhibit to exhibit! Too cute. He was also very happt to see "Thomas" (the train) and we had to stop and wave a few times. Hudson is also so sweet to Delaney.. he calls her "Baby Laney" and loves to hug and kiss her. After the zoo Matt and Amber treated me to Birthday Pizza at Imos and then we all went to Ted Drewes! It was an exhausting.. but very fun day! Delaney treated us last night to eating at 8:45 and going to sleep and not waking up until 4:14 am to eat.... and now at 8:00am she is still alseep! (so why am I awake?)
