Spring Training Trip 2010- Days 1 and 2

Ready to leave for the airport (but she had to "walk her dog" before we left....

Waiting with daddy at the airport... she was so excited to fly on the plane!

Delaney posing with her baby as we waited for our flight.

Getting all buckled in!

Our view from the plane... the clouds looked like snow!

Delaney loved looking at the planes out the window and she wanted her picture with one.
These are out of order sorry...
Daddy playing chase with Delaney on the beach.

Drinking green milk on St. Patrick's Day at Duffy's.
Dancing with Daddy at the Crab House on St Patty's Day!

Day 2 morning... playing on the beach.
She loved the sand toys Mimi got for her.
"I love the beach Mama!"
Running
Burrying Daddy's feet with Alex

Mommy and Alex built a castle with Delaney... then she added some decorations.
She insisted that each castle needed some sprinkles of sand on top...
It took a lot of concentration.
Delaney and Daddy at the Crab House with the Light House behind them.
The family at Duffy's for St. Patrick's Day dinner.... green beer, green water and green milk!
too much Green Milk??
Andy had fun playing with Delaney's balloon monkey.

Here are some pictures from our first 2 days of our Florida Spring Training trip. We were so lucky to get to go again this year! Thanks Mommy and Daddy! We had a blast... and I took a lot of pictures! We spent the week hanging with family, playing on the beach, swimming, hot tubbing, cheering on the Cardinals, eating delicious food and celebrating my Dad's birthday! Enjoy! Rest of the trip pics to come soon!

Recording Studio with Becky

A shot from above the recording room while we were singing.

The group... waiting for some instructions....

Patti, Becky and I

KT, Becky and LeAnn

Becky with Bradd Young (R&B artist that came to sing with us)
I'll start this just by saying that my friend Becky is an amazing singer! Okay now that's out of the way... on to the background.... Becky's newphew asked an angelic question while at the mall one Christmas. He asked "Where's the line to see Jesus?" Well that sweet question sparked his Grandpa (Becky's dad) to write an amazing song with a powerful message. The two of them recodered the song and Becky's cousins made a video to go with it. You can see that on youtube.. here is a link for your viewing pleasure...

Then they decided to rerecord it and make it shorter... add some more intruments and a choir. I got a message from Becky asking if I could help sing in the choir. Talk about excited.. I sang with Becky in high school choir and the musicals we were in together. I was looking forward to seeing some other friends from high school at the recording studio as well. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, something I alkways thought would be fun to do but never imagines Id actually get the chance! So thanks to Becky for thinking of me! I can't wait to hear the final song! Becky is going to be hitting in big in no time!

Fun Flashback

Just found this photo collage on my h: drive at school. The mu cheer one was probably when she was about 4 months old. The collage was when she was about 5 months old! Oh how the time has flown by! Hard to believe two years have passed since she was this little! Look at those rolls! She's much slimmer these days... but her personality has only grown bigger and bigger! Hope you enjoyed the flashback!
