When we weren't out on a boat ride... this is where Delaney spent most of her time...

Of course.. climbing out and putting her shoes on to run around .. then take them off and get back in... was another favorite thing to do!

We had a great time visiting Delaney's Grandma and Grandpa at their place at the lake this weekend. Delaney not only got to see Grandma and Grandpa but Aunt Tina (TT) and Aunt Tammy and Uncle Jason as well! She loved going for boat rides.. despite not caring for the life jacket too much! She pointed and waved to all the boats we passed! She got to help daddy drive the boat and even took a short nap on our last boat ride! Delaney had a blast playing in her little pool on the deck. She poured water from her teapot into her teacups, tried to fish with her little plastic pole and fish and had a good time kicking her legs and floating on her back! She was quite intrigued by the lake water and was all willing to jump in... but mommy found it to be a bit too cold! Maybe next time! Thanks for everyting Grandma and Grandpa we had so much fun! Delaney is looking forward to tubing next time we come down!!!!!!!

Yesterday was my school districts big spirit festival. I am the student council sponsor at my school and therefore help with the parade float.... we were so lucky after a rough week that we had a parent surprise us with an awesome float! The kids cheered the whole parade and had a blast! Delaney loved watching the big kids as we walked along. The float was great... it spun in circles and bounced... hilarious! After the parade we hit up the kiddie rides. Delaney has no fear and will try anything and is hardly ever scared! She loved all the rides and would often be signing and saying more before the ride had even stopped! She played some games and won some prizes and had an absolute blast! We were home in time for a nap and a birthday party. I couldn't resist posting these two pics from C's party!

Mother's Day

I am truly blessed to be a mommy to this beautiful little girl! She fills each day with love and laughter. I couldn't have asked for a better day spent with my little girl and my own mommy too. For without my mommmy I don't know how I would know what to do as a mommy myself!

Well we made it back a week later to see the baby piggies! We took our neighbor Ajdin along with us and he and Delaney had a good time together! They both loved all the animals, especially the baby pigs!

Another fun outing with Mommy while Daddy was gone golfing. We were hoping to see the baby pigs but they weren't born just yet... I think we must have barely missed them! Many of the animals appreared to be napping and Delaney liked telling the night night as she looked in at each one! I have more pics from our trip a week later when the baby pigs were there... those will be posted next!
