Moolah Shrine Circus

Delaney only liked the clowns from far away... until she got a sucker!
She loved the light up toy Daddy bought her!
Sitting in her own chair... that would hardly stay down without Brynn and I's help!
Watching intently... Delaney, Brynn and Brock Riding on a pony!
Dawn and Fooey (PaPa)

I know... the circus was almost a month ago now! We got caught up in Easter Season and I am just finally getting around to it! I must start by saying that The Moolah Shrine Parade and Circus are some of my favorite childhood memories. My Grandfather (PaPa as we call him) is a Shrine Clown and as kids we always went to see him in the parade and of couse the circus! We loved going to the clown tents and having our own special time with all the clowns and Papa! Growing up spending time at Granny and Papa's always meant eating ice cream or butter and sugar sandwiches.... but it also meant finding balloons everywhere and then asking PaPa (and sometimes Granny) to blow it up for us and make something! My favorites were always the apples! I was so excited to take Delaney to the circus this year so I could share my expereinces with her! She loved the show... sang along and danced the whole time! She shouted names of animals as they came out and was just beside herself when the elephants performed! PaPa didn't dress out and come to the circus this year. I was sad because I'd really love to have a picture of Delaney with "Fooey"! Maybe next year.... right PaPa? For now...I just had to reminisce and find a picture of me with Fooey as a kiddo! It's scanned... and not well so you can't see PaPa's face well but you can tell I am enamored!
and I have a GREAT Video coming soon of Delaney doing the Fruit Dance!

Laughing and running!
Hope you enjoy these pictures! Little Gym is our favorite part of the week....
Delaney laughs and giggles and just smiles ear to ear while she is there!

Easter Weekend

We had a fabulous and busy Easter Weekend! We started by traveling to visit Delaney's Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Tammy, Uncle Jason and Aunt Tina. Our spoiled little princess got lots of candy, new clothes, art supplies, bubbles, books, adorable purse with accessories, and much more! She wasn't sure what to think about the egg hunt at first but she certaily knew she didn't want Tammy taking her eggs! After fabulous food and fun we headed back home for egg dying on Saturday. All the cousins were there to dye eggs and enjoy a gorgeous day outside. Delaney liked coloring on the eggs and peering at them in the cups of dye. She enjoyed the Egg Hunt with her cousins and they were so kind to make sure she got plenty of eggs! (Brock gave Delaney lots of his eggs!) She loved following the bigger kids around all day! Katie and Brynn were a riot with their hip hop dancing, and Jack let Delaney play cars with him. It was fun to share this family egg dying tradition with Delaney! Sunday morning the Bunny had left Delaney a basket, with an elmo kite, books, coloring book, bubbles and candy. She had fun looking for eggs all over the house! Then we headed to Mimi and General's house for more egg hunting and good food! Delaney was once again spoiled with cute things... Little People Easter set, target gift card, adorable lunch bag with her name on it... and a leotard and dress cover up for little gym!... oh and can't forget the elmo big girl underwear! It was hard to get up this morning after all that fun!.. and as you can see I couldn't limit my photo choices but had to include almost all of them! Hope everyone had a great Easter!
