Happy girl on the beach!

Here are the "beach" pictures from the trip. We had a few really good days on the beach and some windy and cloudy ones too! Delaney wasn't too sure about the sand on her feet, she actually refused to walk in it at first! She got over it after she discovered finding shells and outting them in her bucket. She also didn't care much for the ocean at first. When we took her near it she would would run away from it yelling "bye bye wa wa's!"It was quite hilarious really! She eventually wanted to run and splash her feet in it and then we couldn't keep her out of it! Until the next day of course.. then it was all "bye bye wa wa's again! She on the other hand LOVED swimming in the pool! She'd have jumped in without help if we'd have let her! Don't worry, more pics to come of the rest of our trip.

Cardinal Girls!
Well we are back! Another trip to Spring Training for the memory book and Delaney's second time flying. She was a rockstar on the plane and at all the Cardinal games. On the plane we colored, watched Elmo on the DVD player and read books. At the games she clapped when the crowd clapped... yelled "yeah" for the Cardinals (and sometimes the other team too!) She ate a lot of fruit snacks and cheerios but she was great! Here are the first batch of pics from the baseball portion of our trip....beach and other pics to come later! We truly had a wonderful time!

Dear Delaney-
You turned 19 months old this week! You are growing smarter, stronger, cuter and more independent by the hour! You have amazed us this month with your ability to learn and sing songs. You can sing the whole alphabet now pretty much by yourself, Wheels on the bus, I'm a little teapot and Twinkle Twinkles are also favorites! You can count to 10 (with just a little help needed) and you can almost always get your shoes on by yourself. You can climb anything you put your mind too and you have a new interest in going up stairs on your feet like a big kid... but you haven't quite mastered that yet! (though you think you can do anything!) You speak in sentences often and use new words everyday! You still love to give hugs and kisses and we think those are the best! You now tell us sometimes when you have poo poos.... but sometimes you are teasing and think it is hilarious when we find you are perfectly clean! You love horsey rides on daddy's back and your fridge phonics has been your favorite toy this month, with books coming in as a near tie! You are certainly our little princess and we love you so very much!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
