Halloween Party

Olivia, Gavin, Addy, Zack, Maya, Delaney and Alaina in front....
aka- Abby Cadabby, Fireman, Princess Witch, Buzz Lightyear, Dalmation, Bumblebee, Cat!
Mason helping Zack make his crazy spider... it ended up with antlers!
Delaney was quite frightened by the moving pumpkin she had made... poor thing!

It was okay when it was sitting still!

Performances on the Fireplace...
Olivia was cracking us up with her "Roll that pumpkin down town" song!
Delaney sitting in the firplace and singing.
More singing
Olivia "I'm Abby Cadabby!"
And the wildness begins....
this was after Jerry got them all crazy from being the tickle monster!
Eating cupcakes.
Yummy!
"This is good mommy"
Listening to "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything"
"I've had enough!"

We had a great time at Gavin and Maya's house last night. All the girls decided we needed to get the kids and husbands together for a Halloween Party. Devon was so nice to host it at her house! The kids ate pizza and cupcakes. They decorated silly crazy moving pumpkins and spiders, ran played nicely together... then ran around wild and crazy performing for us on the fireplace! It was so much fun! We noticed just how much the kids have "grown up" since we all went to the lake this past summer. We got all of them to look at the camera this time! We missed having Luke there this time though! We had some tired kids by the end of the night.. thanks to Maya for letting Delaney borrow some jammies... she was out before we left Devon's subdivision! It was so fun to see all the kids in their costumes.. I hope this will be a new tradition! Thanks again Devon for hosting!

Delaney helping daddy unload the budweiser! oh boy!
Two very tired kids! Hudson held Delaney's hand to help her walk to our hotel room!
This is what we all needed today.. a nap!
Here's sweet little Camden napping with his Mizzou Bear!

We had a blast at Mizzou's homecoming this weekend! We traveled up with Matt, Amber, Hudson and baby Camden. We got there just in time to go visit Greek Town for housedecs. These are like Giant puppet shows. I didn't take the camera because it was so cold and we were busy keeping the kids bundled up! The theme was Disney movies so the kids had a great time. They even got balloons and Delaney couldn't have been more excited. With our kids deleriously tired we headed back to Kat's place to crash! (thanks Kat!) After a very short night we got up early to head to the parade. Jerry and Matt stayed at Kat's with Camden as it was still feezing cold! Hudson and Delaney loved the parade.... picking up candy was so fun for them and eating it was even better. We discovered Delaney likes twizlers! Amber and I hit up the bookstore because a trip to Columbia is just not complete without that! It finally warmed up and turned into a beautiful day so we headed to the Columns to take pics and play some football. Finally we went to the game to tailgate and visit with friends! The togers pulled off an awesome win! We headed to our hotel.. ate some Pokey Sticks and went to bed. Hudson really wanted to swim so we got up ate breakfast and went swimming before heading back home. We are so lucky to have such good friends! It was a great time!

Pumpkin Patch Visits

My Pumpkin Girl!

Daddy wanted pics with the OLD tractor.. and Delaney loved trying to turn the wheel.

Running through the fort.
Our fearless leader- leading us through the maze.
She would crack up each time I would yell "uh oh dead end!".
Mama's girl.
Pumpkin Pile... with the cutest one on top!

Dada's girl.
OOh! That what she would say!
At home with our pumpkins
Saying cheese for me... but not looking at me!

We went to two diferent pumpkin patches this year. one day was hotter than an October day should be, which is why we didn't stay long and decided to try another one this weekend. It was MUCH cooler so Delaney got to wear her Pumpkin Sweater! She really enjoyed touching the pumpkins and trying to pick them up. She LOVED sitting on the big ones and sliding off. She even tried to stand on one! She rode a pony and led us through a maze... and overall had a great time. Jer and I are looking forward to this tradition each year!

Boo at the Zoo

We had so much fun at Boo at the Zoo tonight. Delaney got all dressed up (with layers under to stay warm) in her bumble bee costume and we headed to go see the animals. She loved running through the zoo and seeing the other kids in costumes as well as the animals. She enjoyed riding the carousel and just about everyone we passed commented how cute her costume was! I am proud of how it turned out. She looks super adorable! (but then again when doesn't she? hehe) I have more pics of the Pumpkin Patch today but blogger is being to slow so those will be in another post! Happy Haunting!

14 months old!

Our Wild Girl!

Running down the hill.
Pretty flowers
not quite a smile...
Exporing the garden.
Basketball with Dada.
Bath Crayon fun!
Can you see her picture?
Dear Delaney-
You are 14 months old! You are cuter than ever and Daddy and I love you more and more each day! I think your biggest accomplishment this month is your expanding vocabulary! You try to say almost everything we say! You are becoming quite the little parrot! Recently we have heard you say flower, orange, green, blue, all done, nana (for banana), thank you, up, and down. Those are all clearly.. you say a lot of other things.. but not so clearly just yet! What is so sweet is that you TRY to say everything! You still love to read books and you can spend quite some time reading to yourself.. jabbering all the way! You even pick out books and back up your little botom into mama or dada's lap to listen to us read to you! It's so stinkin' cute!

You are becoming very independent and think you can do everything on your own. You still love to play outside... although posing for pictures is not your favorite thing these days! You just run away from the camera... laughing all the way! You love to throw and kick balls and watch them bounce away before chasing after them. At the Little Gym... you go crazy when the balls are all dumped out onto the floor... pure euphoria!
You have recently taken an interest in your bath crayons. Which provides a wonderful opportunity for mommy and daddy to teach you letters and colors. This is when you started saying orange, green and blue....but orange is the cutest! I think you like orange the best. You also can say A when mama draws an A on the tub wall.
I think my favorite thing you have started doing this month is giving squeezy hugs. You wrap your sweet little arms around our necks and give the most fantastic and loving little hugs! They make me melt!
We love you baby girl!
Love, Mama and Dada
