mmm... my book.

Delaney loves for me to brush her hair (what little she has) and she also loves to play with her hairbrush! So tonight we played beauty shop. I fixed Delaney's hair into a pebbles type do... and she brushed mommy and daddy's hair too! She is a riot these days. Also last week when I was doing a Valentine's Day photo shoot with her... she put the rose stem in her mouth... how did she know to do that? I guess she's been watching the tango on Dancing with the Stars! Such a little character already! And finally ....she loves to eat her "Who Loves Baby" book... but she looks

quite like a mouse when she eats it.....so I had to include a pic of that too!

Kansas City Visit

Last weekend we traveled to visit Grandma and Grandpa and made the extra miles to see Aunt Tina in Kansas City. Tina works for Channel 9 News as a producer so we surprised her by showing up at her work without telling her. We couldn't stay long but Delaney did get to have her picture taken with two of the news anchors; Kelly Eckerman and Jim Flink. (Those of you who live in Channel 9's viewing area will know them... but I hadn't a clue!) It's neat to see the inside of a news station.. and I have a feeling when Delaney gets a little older she'll beg us to take her there again! Thanks for taking us there Grandma and Grandpa and thanks for the tour Aunt Tina.

Delaney is six months old... which means half of a year has passed since she was born. The time is flying and she is growing, changing and learning more each day. Her little personality is emerging and it's quite a personality at that! She loves to talk, talk, talk and play, play, play! We have a feeling crawling is right around the corner. Delaney had her 6 month check up and here are her stats: Weight- 18lbs 3 oz (75%)Height- 28 inches (off the chart)

So I was trying to be artistic and take some pictures of Delaney looking out the window with natural light. I totally didn't know what I was doing but she cooperated well. She loves to look out windows and she loves the sunshine! These are part of my 6 month photo shoot but I will take more on Monday (when she is actually 6 months old!) Enjoy!
