Aw.. did you ever see a snow angel that little?

A few weeks ago we got a good 7 inches of snow and I just couldn't resist taking Delaney out to play in it! I bundled her all up to go outside for a total of maybe ten minutes. I had taken Alex sledding his very first winter... so why not Delaney? She actually liked sledding more than it looks like in the picture.. it was just that was after she had gone down a few times and she was kinda over it by then!.... but she definately did NOT care for making the snow angel.... but how cute is that little snow angel? If anything it was an opportunity to wear her little bear snowsuit! I know next year and the years to come will be much more fun in the snow.... but we couldn't miss out on Delaney's first snow!!!

All worn out from opening presents Christmas morning.
So I neglected to take many pictures because we were so busy helping Delaney open her presents (she is so spoiled) and then we spent the rest of the time trying to get her to sleep! She fights off sleep like crazy when there is something else going on. We had a great Christmas and we were so lucky to get to spend some time with both sides of our family. I will continue to post some pics of Delaney playing with her new toys (and wearing her new clothes) as I get time. We hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all!!!! Santa came early for Delaney and she loved opening her presents this morning. She's starting to get the hang of ripping off the paper but she was much more interested in the paper and bows than what was inside them.... but after we opened her toys and showed her how they work... she loved them too! We hope you all are enjoying a great Christmas Eve and best wishes for a wonderful Christmas Day as well!

Delaney was baptised on October 21st, but I didn't take any pictures of my own. (I had the job of holding her during the ceremony) I finally got copies of the ones my mom took and so I am just now posting them. She looked like such an angel in her beautiful dress. Her Godmother (Aunt Tina) gave her an adorable bracelet that you can see in the last picture. She talked a lot at the beginning of the ceremony and by then end she was fast asleep in my arms. Father Welsch did a wonderful job and although Delaney didn't care for water being poured on her head she did great too! Sorry I took you back a few months..... but I just had to share these fabulous pictures.

Official Photo Shoot

Last weekend we took Delaney for her first Official Photo Shoot (you know... not set up on my bed in our house but in a real studio!) She was great! So happy the whole time. She did make a silly face for quite a few shots.... but we got her smiling a lot too. We got these sent by email so they aren't the best resolution but they are for sharing! These are a few of my favorites... hope you enjoy them!

My PaPa is a Moolah Shrine Clown- known as Fooey. I have great memories from my childhood of going to see Fooey in the parade and at the circus. Now we get to take Delaney to all of those fun events too! Saturday the clowns has their Christmas Party for their families. Delaney got all dressed up in one of her Christmas dresses and got to sit on Santa's lap. She wasn't phased by Santa at all... but the pretty package he was holding... now that had her attention. It was fun watching her try to rip the wrapping paper and then not letting go! She tried to eat her candy cane full of M&M's and loved watching the clowns walk past her. She was all worn out and slept the whole way home. Thanks for a fun day Fooey and all the clowns!

Four Months Old!

Yesterday Delaney turned four months old. We just can't believe how quickly time is flying by. I'll be doing a better photo shoot with her this weekend but here are a few for now. She now loves to practice her sitting and look at pictures of babies. She is such a happy baby and loves to smile and laugh at just about anything or anybody!

Sunday we traveled out to Pea Ridge Farm to cut down our Christmas Tree. My Aunt Nancy, Uncle Derek and cousins Brock and Brynn went too! When we left St. Louis it was 68 degrees and by the time we got there it was only like 35 and rainy!!!! Good thing I'd packed warm stuff just in case. I carried Delaney in the jeep carrier so poor Jer had to drag the tree all by himself down the hill through the mud! We drank hot chocolate by the fireplace, ate some snacks and Delaney sat on Santa's lap for the first time. Despite the icky weather it was a good time as always!
