Happy little lamb
Mary had a little lamb it's fleece was white as snow. Everywhere that Mary went the lamb was sure to go. It followed her to school one day which was against the rule. It made the children laugh and play to see a lamb at school.

Matt, Hudson and Amber- what an adorable family!

Delaney has been rolling from her tummy to her back for about 3 weeks now. However at first she wasn't too good at it and often got stuck on her side. I used my digitial camera that has sound but the lighting is pretty bad in her room. It takes forever to upload videos from our video camera....So I also included some still pictures... you get the idea.
Whoa.. what is that?
I had to show this one of her princess pants.
Sitting in her Bebe Pod and playing with her flowers.
The mobile... I added black , white and red images for more age appropriate entertainment.
A little sleepy...

Not smiling... but at least she isn't crying!
There's a smile!
This is so not cool mom...
Hey I was sleeping.. why'd you take away my paci....
This weekend we spent some time at Eckert's and Stuckmeyer's. I wanted to get some good pictures of Delaney with the pumpkins.... well she had other plans. On Saturday we went to Eckert's and Delaney was not in the best mood... and she refused to smile for us... then she fell alseep. It turns out we forgot the memory stick for the camera so we has to take pics with our phone.... We ate some succotash and picked a good pumpkin though. On Sunday she woke up in a great mood so we hurried up and got ready to take her to Stuckmeyer's. She still didn't smile much... but she was more cooperative and we got a bale of straw, some cornstalks and another pumpkin. I can't believe Halloween is only two weeks away!
Lifting her head way up to look at her black, white and red book.
It just mesmerizes her!
Talking on the phone... I swear I didn't pose this one!
talk talk talk... and SMILE
Sucking on her thumb... aw (so she kinda pulled it out when I took the pic... )
All bundled up for a walk...

Here are some updates on our little Princess Delaney....
Most of you who talk with us regularly know about our struggle with Delaney's GERD (reflux). Basically she screams when she has to eat and flat out refuses to drink at all! She also projectile spit ups often....We have tried several different formulas and medications trying to get her feeling better. Starting with Mylanta... moving to Zantac and now Prevacid. We have also tried adding rice cereal to her formula to help keep it down and now we are trying a lacto free formula. A teacher at my school mentioned her daughter had severe reflux and they had a "reflux bed" that worked well and we could use. Last night Delaney slept so well on it.... I hope we find a fix for this soon... until then she'll be sleeping on the giant wedge....
Also I made up a book for Delaney of black, white and red images... those are the colors she sees best now... and the high contrast really gets her attention. We like to prop the book in front of her to encourage her to lift her head up.. she's doing a great job. I also made the images to stick on to her preexisting mobile... she loves to watch that now too.
She is able to hold on tight to things now... like my hair.... and her toys... she loves her phone rattle... and puts it right up to her ear like she knows what she is doing.. she must be watching mommy!
Delaney Grace has also recently been able to get her thumb in her mouth and keep it there... before it would always fly out before she barely began to suck on it. As much as she loves her Nordstrum paci's I can see a future thumb sucker here....
