Apple Picking!

This has been the week for apple picking. We went last Sunday with my cousins and then the first graders went on Friday for our first field trip. The first picture is most (but not all) of my class with our McCoy's Monkeys class T-shirts in front of the corn maze. Then you have Brock showing me his apple, Brock and Brynn sporting their pig noses and finally posing nicey for me! I have enough apples to last me a few weeks. They do have to be my favorite fruit, and you just can't beat picking them yourself!

WANTED

Wanted: Whatever started the Head Lice Outbreak at my school!

Yes you heard correctly, I said Head Lice. It brings back memories of Elementary school ... waiting in line for the nurse to check your head. I luckily never got it! Good things too because my hair was LONG then.

The epedemic began on Monday and the count is up to 13 total cases! My class and I were checked today and so far we are in the clear but it is widespread so nobody is really safe.

I'm seriously thinking about bringin 19 swim caps and putting them on my kids heards to protect them (and myself)

What is really not fair is that you can't do a whole lot to prevent them.....

Keep your fingers crossed (as my first graders would say) that my class stays clear!

Here are some pics of my kiddos. They are keeping me very busy... and in turn I've done very few posts on here and I've neglected my myspace as well. They are darn cute though!

John Mayer

Last night Jerry and I attended the John Mayer concert last night with our good friends Matt and Amber. Amber is in LOVE with John Mayer and I love his music. I really do love guys that can play the guitar and sing.... but I tell ya John Mayer is even better because he writes his own music! I love love love his new song Waiting on the World To Change. Sheryl Crow also sang but nothing against her we left after she sang 3 songs because it was already 10:15pm and it was a Sunday night and we had to work today! Had a lot of fun hanging with Matt and Amber and listening to John. We were on the lawn so it wasn't worth taking pictures.. but here is one I found online. He is kinda a cutie!

Birthday

So a few weeks ago my cousin and I celebrated our birthdays together. I tured 27 and Brock tured 7. We had a bash at the new butler pool! The following are some shots from the event. Brock enjoyed floating on a ring in the hot tub....Hudson loved the fountains....Caden wanted to walk everywhere.....Gab and Kathryn were crazy and loved posing for my camera!
