Okay so the cards lost last night ... they should have won because Anthony Reys pitched a great game.... but despite the loss we had a blast with our friends Elizabeth and Wes.

This is the Bud Light on a stick beer guy..... if you've been to a Cards game you've probably seen him..... He set his bud light on a stick down by the time the lady blocking my view got out of the way.... but he yells really loud... he's hilarious

Hello Lake... it's Summertime!

We spent Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake with Jerry's family. We just love going down there. Always good food to eat, boat rides and fun in the sun! I didn't take too many pics.. nobody will let me take there picture! But .. here are a few....

First Grade Play

Well we survived our play. It was absolutely precious and we had a great crowd. Here are just a few pics. I was the director, stage manager and prop person so I didn't take too many!

It really was a great show. We had a lot of fun... now... 3 days and school is out!

Scary Week

Well to say the least by Tuesday night I knew this week was bad!

Monday morning a little girl in my class told me her grandpa had died over the weekend. All she could tell me was... his heart stopped. He was like a father to her because she never sees her real dad. She also lives with her grandparents. This was unexpected, in fact he was supposed to go with us on our field trip Monday. Just awful! Addison is really too young to know what is going on.

Tuesday evening I got word that a friend from high school who had lived in my subdivision passed away. She had been struggling with anorexia for some time now. I was so shocked because while I know that is the ultimate outcome of that nasty disease, I just never thought it would come to that. It really makes me think of another good friend who also has struggled with eating disorders. I can only hope and pray she is doing alright.

okay so bad news comes in threes is what I told steph on wednesday morning.....

So after school yesterday I am working in the hallway on the scenery for our play. I didn't hear either of my phones ring.... so I go to leave at 4:15 to head to my swim lesson and my aunt calls she says that my mom is on her way to the emergency room. WHAT? It all started with her toothache and some medication... I'll spare you the entire story but she had a reaction to the medication and she was in a terrible amount of pain. My poor mom, everytime I'm sick I call her and complain..... she was trying to be tough. Luckily my aunt took her because my dad's in las vegas for work and i was not answering my phone (couldn't hear it in the hallway) my aunt neetzie also stayed the night to make sure she had medicine when she needed it. I'm relieved that she is going to be okay, she is having the tooth extracted some time today. It's so hard to see someone you love in so much pain and agony.

so hopefully the rest of this week will go by smoothly.. I just don't think I can handle anything else!
